ENRICO Colombatto is a professor of economics at the University of Turin, Italy.
Professor Colobatto is also Director of the International Centre for Economic Research (ICER) in Turin and Prague and Director of Research, Institut de Recherches Economiques et Fiscales (IREF) in Paris.
Among his other current positions and affiliations are that he is a Member of the Scientific Committee of IEL - Doctoral programme in Law and Economics and Economics of Institutions, Member of the Council of Public Policy, Munich and Berlin (since 2001), Member of the Board of IREF - Institut de Recherches Economiques et Fiscales (since 2002), Member of the Academic Advisory Council, Centre for the New Europe, Brussels (since 2003). Adjunct Scholar to the Mises Institute, Auburn (since 2003), Member of the Board of Advisors, Centre on Entrepreneurial Innovation, Independent Institute, Oakland, California (since 2005), Adjunct Scholar to the Centre for the Rule of Law (since 2005), Member of the Advisory Council, Global Finance Forum, Switzerland (since 2006) and Member of the Academic Advisory Council, Liberales Institut, Switzerland (since 2007).
He has the following degrees - Laurea in Economia e Commercio (Univ. of Turin, 1977), M.Sc. Econ. (London School of Economics, 1978) and Ph.D. Econ.(London School of Economics, 1983).
